Leadership skills are a must-have in both your professional and personal lives. If you want to move up in your company into a managerial position, you must be able to put your direct reports in positions where they have the best chance to succeed. If you’re a business owner, you must be able to get your employees to buy into your vision of where you want your business to go. If you’re a parent, you need to be able to guide your children to grow into a responsible adult. All of these examples require you to have leadership skills.
So where does All Nations Toastmasters fit into all of this talk of becoming a better leader? Well here at All Nations, you have the opportunity to hone your leadership skills by doing one or more of the following:
– Participate in the Leadership Track of Toastmasters International’s training program.
– Volunteer for meeting roles such as Ah-Counter, Grammarian, and Table Topics Master in order to ensure that the meetings are run properly and add value to all of the club’s members.
– Volunteer to serve as a club officer (ie. Club President, VP of Membership, Treasurer, etc…) in order to help the club prosper and grow in the long run.
– And so much more!
